Uganda's 25+ rule
Under the Lotteries and Gaming Act 2016, the legal age to gamble in Uganda is 25 — the highest in Africa. Under-25s cannot lawfully register or play. If you're under 25, stop here.
Who regulates gambling in Uganda
The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (NLGRB), established under the same Act, licenses and oversees operators. BetWinner is not NLGRB-licensed — it operates under a Curaçao licence — so local oversight does not apply to it.
